Gripes about UI/UX of Android phones/tablets and so called "openness" that is nonsense to consumers.

If you also have an Android phone, you are welcome to email me your gripes as well. If you don't but you want to buy one, read this blog before you do it. :-)

    A community full of haters?

I happened to find Steve Jobs’ bio in the Android Market. Not surprisingly, its rate is not good, 3 stars from 2,410 reviews. In Apple’s App Store, it’s rated as 4.5 stars from 10,098 reviews. Why is the same book about a person rated so differently in two communities just because they use different products? So I read some reviews from Android Market. To my surprise, I saw no meaningful comments. This community seems to be just full of haters of Apple and Steve Jobs. These are the one-star reviews on the first page:

    • “He is fired - Of apple”
    • “Poor poor poor. Why bother? Reading about a guy that makes crappy products that sheep buy”
    • “Irony - Buy steve jobs rancid lifestory on ur android phone haha”
    • “Crap - Get out of the android market. Most over rated book ever”

    Second page:

    • “Gay - When computers did nothing useful the was apple!”
    • “So overrated. And just like everything apple makes, this book is overpriced junk”
    • “Shithouse bloke - Jobs suxs more cock than a hoover He was an egotistical arrogant piece of shithouse I am glad he is dead no loss at all to the world!”
    • Rated c for crap”
    • “Crap - About a boring greedy prick nuff said”

I don’t want to continue reading.

Sometimes people like a product because they truly like it. Sometimes people like a product simply because they blindly hate its opponent. It’s so sad.
