Flurry tracked 135,000 apps that use their analytics tools, and they “revisited” Android “momentum”:
New apps on iOS vs. Android: 63% vs. 37% (Q1, 2011) down to 73% vs. 27% (Q4, 2011)
In-app purchase revenue of the same app on iOS vs. Android: $1.00 vs. $0.24.
The numbers are self-explanatory. It doesn’t matter what Eric Schmidt says, what matters is what developers think.
